Audemars Piguet

comparison

Thanks for the comparison, however I do not have the wonderful ladies version you compare to at my disposal.

I have in the past owned a 26120st and a 26400au. I enjoyed them both immensely. Had the 26400au not been so large I would have kept it, but at 44mm it felt too large. The 26120st was perfect on my wrist but disliked the date setting mechanism so had to let it go. Have since not had an AP and currently looking at a few varieties and came across the triple date. Looks very interesting but unsure of how it wears compared to other APs since I do not have the option of trying it on.

I have been considering ref 15305 which I tried on at a dealer nearby which I think is stunning but found it somewhat large. I have a 17.5cm wrist but prefer watches on the smaller side that can be discreet under a shirt and not bang into walls etc.. The vintage feel and retro layout of the dial on the 25807 is very appealing, 38mm sounds good, but was concerned with the thickness to diameter ratio. It seems various sites quote thickness at 12, 12.5, or at 13mm. Quite a range, but some of these measures can only be appreciated once on the wrist…. which unfortunately is not an option to me at the moment. I suppose the ideal would be a comparison against the 26022 which I believe is 39mm and 11mm thick. What I do not like is when watches get a little thick and top heavy but if 12 or 12.5mm it should not be an issue I suppose…
