Hi Andy,
If I may make a suggestion, as someone above has done. When you have links in a chain, i.e. Andy to Dealer to AP, you don't really know where the fault is lying, or if the issue has been described exactly, or if something has been lost in communication. Maybe if you go directly to AP, you might have more success. Hopefully some experts here can help with any contacts at AP in London. I have been to the APSC in London, not for a service though, purely to purchase straps.
