I've heard the shower is a bad idea!
The heat makes the seals expand, a lady at a watch dealer said she had seen dove watches fall victim to this. I don't shower with my watches. Unless of course you prefer cold showers sometimes. Perhaps since you haven't had issues yourself is needs to be particularly hot.

Washing machine: delicate cycle.
Works like a charm. Just kidding...I usually just use warm water and mild soap. If there's a build-up of dirt and grime, I'll run an old soft toothbrush over it.

So you think it is better than washing it? I never worried about washing a watch before the 15202. Also, do you ever notice the scratches and tiny dots I am talking about? The watch is literally brand new so I am guessing they are just part of the stainle...
I would not put 15202 under running water.

Your 15202 has a 50m WR...
...as long as you use a low flow rate, you'll be fine with rinsing it after washing with a mild soap. For added peace of mind, rinse thoroughly with crown facing down.

In general, I wash it with the crown facing down and leave it to dry with the crown facing down.. so should be fine! Thanks again
Don't leave it to dry, use a microfibre cloth to dry it.
The ribbed window or suede type are best, with the latter handy to wipe it with to remove natural oils from handling, etc.

But a quick question, is it bad to leave it aside to dry? As in does leaving it to dry affect the movement or anything? Or just to avoid water spots and traces on the watch?
Pat dry, just in case you live in a hard water area or don't have a soft water setup.
Otherwise leaving to air dry won\'t cause any issues.

What\'s not gonna kill you, should be alright for all water-resistant watches. All my steel APs that aren\'t on leather straps regularly join me for a shower - takes care of all the dust etc that gets caught in the links and corners... before a toothbrush...

I leave mine alone--had for 1 year-2 months.
it has never been washed or cleaned-- like it aunatural. Your choice with the Koolest watch. Not much advice I guess.
