Audemars Piguet

I think I'm on the right track…

A lot has changed in my private life in recent years. And I think I've changed personally too (hopefully for the better!). As far as my watches are concerned, not everything I've done has always been intelligent. Sometimes I've sold watches again at a significant loss (actually - unfortunately, as is always the case, because the market is like that - only Rolex and Patek have maintained their prices).

But I still think it's better to correct a bad decision than to keep riding a dead horse. And it's better to sell 2-3 watches at a loss if you can use them to make a significant contribution to fundraising for a watch that you really love and can consider a part of your life.

But even then you can sometimes make mistakes. I was so excited about the Patek 5164R 1,5 years ago. And then I realized that I don't really want to use it. Not even for traveling (apart from the fact that it's probably not so smart to walk around some countries with a red gold GMT).
