The original AP Genta designs used a monocoque case where the only access was from the front. There was no removeable back. That would have made your internal inspection all the more difficult.

As has been stated, AP would charge a fortune to rehab this one, if they would do it at all.

This watch is correct, this is JlC 889 movement. But i think after this Taliban-watchmaker who repaired this watch, AP can not hlep you, or it is more expensive than a good second hand RO. [nt]

It should be the JLC Cal 920, used by AP, VC and Patek.

No Nico, this is the ultraflat one, never used from JlC, exclusive for AP 2121, VC 1121, PP 28.255. This is without second hand. They had also the 889 with second hand. [nt]
