More charm and soul on the original, no doubt. Truth be told, this is not an LE in the normal AP way.
It appears to be just new combination of materials and colors, limited in production. I think it looks fantastic. But it is not in the vein of a RBII, JPM, Survivor, etc. Of course, we could almost say the same on the original, which was a 25770 variant, but it seemed to have more unique details compared to the other models. Personally, I don't see the need to call it an "EoD II". It is perfectly acceptable as just a cool variant of the 43mm Offshore.

Numerals sure would be interesting, and different dial guilloche. Still, it is a very compelling version of Royal Oak Offshore, and a reasonable tribute to the original End of Days 25770. And for good measure, the original: ...

None of the new ROOs are for ‘regular folk’ since LE or tourbillon.

That would be disappointing. AP used to include the coolest LE boxsets! I still love the watch, but it could be even cooler. Numerals, change the orientation of the numbers on the inner tach, and give me a smaller guilloche!
