The 5402 is so much better.

Yikes, I have seen that on some samples over the years. Looks like the AP logo angles in the other direction from center. Maybe just your pics.

But although I fully appreciate its importance and historical value from a collector point of view, I just cannot see under which other grounds a 5402 could be any better/nicer than a 15202.

1. 5402 is the original genta design while 15202 is sort of reissue 2. Bracelet in 5402 is slimmer and even more comfortable than 15202. By far. It compares favorably with 3700 bracelet 3. 5402 is more appealing because of its age. Blue/gray/tropical. We ... 

NOTHING is better than the 15202st. NOTHING!!!!!! I've owned them both and far prefer the new. I think the vintage 'matters' more but I would take the new in a heartbeat! Nice watch. very nice watch. VERRRRRRRRY NICE WATCH, sir.
