A good friend fell out of love with this gorgeous AP Montoya, so he agreed to loan it to me for a week before selling it.
I always loved this reference for itās importance on the Offshore line.
You guys know it well:
Richard Mille design, JLC movement, Stern(Patek) dial, Dubuis Depras chrono module, F1 theme,
so a horological tour de force!
I love it, except that Iām not used to the size.
Previous Offshores didnāt fit right on my wrist eider wobbled or the deployent pushed to hard on my wrist but this one itās a match!

It is big, but you just have to check one thing: Is it comfortable? I loved mine but sod it because it didn't sit correctly on my wrist.
But I can tell you one thing: I regret having let it go... ...
Surprisingly for the few hours I have it on it seems right, but Iāll be wearing it for the rest of the week and weāll see...
Same as you, I always had problems with the Offshores thatās why I sold them all. To bad you didnāt find a solution to wear yours.
How large is your wrist?
...it looks large enough to pull it off...comfort is the main thing. I'm not a 'huge watch' fan in general, especially when it comes to non-sports watches. But this one is the definition of a sport watch and the size gives the chrono function ...
ROFL, Iāll definitely use this technique if it comes down to negotiation! Great advise!
As for the fit and size, Iām with you, my preference is 40mm max, but so far it sits and fits good. Not a Rolex jubilee, but good! Appreciate your input.

The best ap roo I think. I think it looks great , if it feels great then go for it. I definitely think it sits well on your wrist in the picture above.
The veredict
Masculine AP. Character also. Not an Offshore that i see much. A looker. The size is big you say. Wat is big? And wat is the function? A camouflage or to brag on the jetset? If i speek out the verdict, and the state of the AP is good enough, i say YES. So...

I think it looks absolutely stunning on your wrist. And, of course, it is a fantastic piece with unique appeal. Cheers Marc
