I miss the days AP had more bespoke creations like this. And the Black Panther continues this trend.
I still recall some of the same reactions when this came out. Imagine today, if this was launched to the general public. The theme here being a gun theme - for me I would still jump on it! But I think there may be some people who could be turned off...

I have always applauded AP for this reason.
"Attention to detail". Whether they were making a Regatta watch liked the Polaris & Forged Carbon Alinghi, F1 models (we all known these), the Survivor - the details were amazing and never done before. And I will tell you, I feel the same about the artist...
