CHF prices denote Swiss MSRP including 7,7% Swiss mwst. That’s the lowest rate in Europe. Retail prices in other countries have to account for higher tax rates, other duties, currency fluctuation risk and transport costs. Not to mention good ol’ price discrimination.
And yes, there are of course obvious arbitrage possibilities and a lot of grey dealers and retailers do leverage their business by using tax refunds, with or without illegal non-declaration of goods when crossing borders.
