The Montoya was soooo ugly
that when I walked into my AD, they happened to have a rose gold Montoya in stock that day for some strange reason. I looked at it, tried it on my wrist, and then whipped out the plastic. That was the best impulse purchase I've ever made!
I will always remember this Montoya as it qualifies as a "perfect" watch for me.

Totally agree. I think the RB1 is not unique enough and I too prefer special editions to be well more.. Special! Though If it's the RBII then I think that over the Montoya.

Thanks for all your input. Ended up pending a little more and now have an RB2 TI instead - very happy! I will have to leave the Montoya and RB1 for another day. Dan

That was really lucky.. congrats and wear it in good health the montoya RG looks amazing and will always go up in value and along with the RBII RG.
