This looks brilliant. The back of the movement is reminiscent of Richard Mille, but the whole package hangs together and I certainly won’t hold that against AP! Were Renaud et Papi involved in the design?
On a side note, I was never attracted to the millenary case in pictures, but after trying one on last year I have come to believe it is the perfect shape for the wrist. In this guise, with the 3-dimensional layered movement and the forged carbon case, it is a winner.

on the pictures of the back plate there is a piece of metal (Al?) that surrounds the tourbillon hole. It seems to be mobile, but then there are stop screws on both sides that seem to restrict it. Can you tell me if this part is part of the chronograph mec...

Very impressive movement
The movement is a delight in every detail. Unfortunately it is embedded in a shell I find less than pleasing, to put it euphemistically ... if that point of view is allowed between the massive wows here.
Absolutely georgous! However with a tourbillon inside I will have to recline.
Will undoubtedly be way too pricy for my ticking budget!
