Couldn't agree more.

 

The problem is that in the good old days, owners would have a proper saloon (S-class / 7-series / Jaguar) or a real 4x4 (Land Cruiser / Range Rover) for daily use and an Aston or Ferrari for special occasions. Each car would be perfectly suited to its intended use. However, with SUV's, you get a car that's neither great off-road nor fabulous on-road. You're basically getting the worst of both worlds. As for the looks...🤢
