They should make a James Bond book about a villain who's an auction house executive who wants to take over the world. Or maybe just the art world. 

The Spy Who Loved Me - (with the Lotus) - was all about a villain who wanted to start a war between the world and while the world killed itself he'd start a new population in "Atlantis" under the sea...

Moonraker - similar concept, but the villain wants to start a world in a space station above the world, with a view of all the destruction below. 

View To A Kill - villain wants to take over the silicon chip business by causing massive flooding and earthquakes to Silicon Valley, South of San Francisco. 

Goldfinger - (with the Aston Martin DB5) - Auric Goldfinger, our villain, wants to make the entire gold reserve at Fort Knox radioactive, thus increasing the value of his gold

But the Sesto Elemento does appeal to me .. a lot .... BUT please with a round steering wheel :-) Does Sotheby's accept a bouncing check you think ? :-)

The Sesto Elemento is just rolling sculpture. I saw it at the Quail Motorsports Gathering show a few years ago and I thought it was amazing in person. It seems all the major auction houses accepts blood money for payment, money from criminals, or gives cr...

It might actually be the same car. Maybe different non-functioning prototypes were made and shown around the world, but only one functioning car was built? Just a guess. Good find!

as a wind deflector to protect the occupants but homologation was an issue. If you create a screen to look through than more than 90% of the field of view (defined by the viewing angles) surface has to be wiped which meant the screen had to be bigger and ... 

Ahh, "Monoposto feel" is the operating descriptor for this car...

Just like an F1 race car, Monoposto open cockpit feel. There's even the painted exterior trim separating the driver and passenger for more of that race car feel.
