Aesthetically, I prefer the Boxer. I had an interesting conversation with the curator of a major metropolitan museum this past Saturday. She said, "When I lead visitor groups, I make a point of distinguishing between design and historical context and personal aesthetic preference. I may or may not like a particular piece, but I try to be aware of and respect the context of every piece. A significant design or execution may or may not be pleasing to my eye, but that doesn't reduce its significance."

I couldn't agree more.

Overall, I personally prefer the 275GTB/4 longnose preceding, or the Boxer succeeding. Hollywood (Miami Vice) went a long way towards making this a standout model, above and beyond any intrinsic merit.
