I admit, a nutcase!
St. Bernhard is a very different dog. When growing, they have to rest a lot; I would guess 22 h every day. And when it's time to wake up, some 5 minutes are needed to consider weather to stand up or not. But when that +60 kg puppy is getting excited, the whole house is like after tornado.
But she is not doing anything that would be prohibited. I can leave anything next to my armchair that she loves. Just say "no, you can not touch it" (in Finnish naturally) and I can leave the house. The delicacies are untouched when I get back home.
There are some damages, too. The local fisherman used to come to the door once a week and sell fresh fish. Nowadays he's too scared and never stops to our house. Also no parcels are delivered home by the post anymore. They are just asking us to pick up everything.
