I think you will enjoy a car like this as it also dictates your limits by suspension, brakes etc. So you will have still quite some "driving" sensations. The only thing I would be bothered with is having it in the centre of Paris. It will take you each ti...

I get to push my cars at the limit everyday , doing my daily 420 kms of german autobahn and trying to do them at about 200 average ..and i enjoy cruising windows down on the week end. I need this as a stress therapy Nothing better than to check under the ... 

Not in France, as it is too risky for my driving license, but in Italy, for example. Especially when I have a long road to do. But you're right, driving in a vintage car is another way to travel, a way which pleases me a lot. And it would give me some goo...

But the dealer seems to be veni vidi vici classic cars bv I find the price correct for such a great car. I never had a problem to buy and immatriculate an oldtimer within europe ( and i am a designer that means i am just not able to understand formalities...

If you enjoy it then it\'s a no brainer! Plus the vintage technology is something that you can roll up your sleeves and tinker with with should you feel the desire to get your hands dirty!

Sounds like a strange reason. I'd recommend the later fuel-injected E. It's not that I don't like carburettors, but for the fact that it has 4 wheel discs. Not that you'll really notice the extra power, but they are nicer to keep in good order.

Due to an anemic motor... Agreed on the wheel discs, and not a very bigger power, while I prefer the purer line of the " S "... It is a question of compromise, I guess. Thanks for your feedback, Ben! Nicolas

...if I had a 130hp Alfa engine....actually, I probably wouldn't a real 130 out of 1600cc will be peaky for the road. While P1800s were never light, thecar weighs a lot less (a couple of hundred kg less than say, a Golf) than modern vehicles, so the 'lack...

Do you really think it will be your car? What is about your two ladies? Will they "adopt" it? Will you be allowed to drive it, at least from time to time :-) It is a real beauty for cruising in town, at the sea ... Love it! Oliver

Oliver has pointed out the biggest danger. I would say go for it. Driving isn't only about power and acceleration. But do be careful that you get the car for yourself from time to time. Don

As Luc states, it brings you to another era, i always have that feeling when driving an old car ... BUT ... be aware ... never take this car for a spin whenever you're in a hurry because then the fun stays away. You can perfectly go on holidays with a car...
