They are exceedingly rare and truly breathtaking to look at. The first really special Alfas since the RZ and SZ. Although those were more of an acquired taste than conventionally beautiful.

I barely consider the 8C an Alfa Romeo

Nothing like the Tipo 33 Stradale or the Montreal but then again the last pure Alfa was probably the 75, so quite some time ago.

would pursue real cars again, rather than these vanity projects. I hope the new Guilia will be worthy...I have seen some components from it, but until a proper viewing and a drive occur, I am still sceptical.

Depends on how much room for maneuver remains after the saloon and the SUV are launched...

...I would even set foot in, let alone want to drive, is the Matta....which I have set foot in, but not driven. I understand the market forces that encourage this kind of development, but concentration on what is (or was) great about Alfa seems to me more... 

Alfa has wasted a lot of time with incomplete or unpolished products. The Mito is a disaster, Giulietta not competitive, Giulia - we can only hope At least the 8C did not detract from the regular R&D budget, the resources were taken straight out of a mark... 

Did not have Ferrari branding, as Dino was supposed to be an entry level brand. The fact that it was only possible if Fiat used the engine, too, is hardly a downside. Tastes are personal but optically I consider both of the Fiat versions prettier than Fer...

Sadly that is the case. For regular cars its pedestrian crash legislation, for supercars...
