As a kid, we had this card deck picturing all sorts of cars, listing their performance. You named a category like hp, weight or top speed or so, drew a card, and the best spec won. That game was our window to great cars. Two of the cars stuck in the back ... 

Loved the game as a child and had many different ones. Fortunately our kids like it, too 😁 Almost went for a 310 many years ago and still regret not having pulled the trigger 🤷🏻‍♂️ Something tells me I will eventually end up with the current 110, though 👍... 

Yeah, we enjoyed that game quite a bit. The 110 makes a lot more sense by this posting. The front shot (2nd pic) and the interior is really something. Right one to move ahead from. Pedigree.

Never had a close look I`m afraid, and your pics are the first ones I ever have seen of the original A 110. One of these strange things where something stick to your mind of some reason, and never leave. De Tomaso Pantera is another.

There`s something about the A310 though, perhaps it has something to do with "imperfection adds character and personality"? Have to drag the following out of my memory: I believe that there was a strong wish for the A610 to become what people wanted from ... 

They need a culture to be properly appreciated, and with hardly any imported there`s no way to connect with them. That would be easier these days, but there are no trigger cars to spot in the first place. I was offered to swap the R5 Turbo I drove 1:1 wit... 

They don`t relate to status/importance, but age. Veteran status (25 years) removes a lot of taxation, but there was a revision a few years back on noise and emissions and so on which would make it virtually impossible to get licence plates on a R5 Turbo. ... 

Keeping these marvels as they were originally is important, thus right thing to do. If already on licence plates, vintage cars can get away with it for emissions, but I`m pretty sure the licence plates goes if they fail on decibel. Fresh import is a chall... 

A matte darker grey semi wide stripes over the top would work with grey, probably best without?

My thought derived from your Deauville pictures of the silver limited edition, believe it would have worked on that one if being a tad subtile with contrast.

It`s a fun thing that they drop various iterations which will touch base with different preferences though, builds and nurtures the culture around the car. Not really my thing, but the Tissot LE "clock" is fun, another pointer towards the likes of that go...
