I ordered one as well. And they just cut production numbers by half. And so far, in the first six months of this year, Lucid has only sold about 1000 cars. Tiny numbers. Pretty pathetic. As a stockholder, I'm not happy.

There are several WatchProSite members who have ordered a Lucid. Although, I think all of them are expecting the car to be sportier (the several are all Mercedes/BMW/Porsche drivers) than the Lexus feeling I got.

I hope Lucid doesn't get too upset with my Lexus analogy. Lexus cars are gasoline burning cars that lack soul. They're fast because they're powerful, but they're not engaging. Thus Lucid was fast. But didn't feel very engaging. Hopefully I got a bad one. ... 

Totally agreed with your take on the feel of Lexus having gone thru a few of the V8 LS. Fast but does not feel planted. While the LC and RC F are much more composed, Lexus is bit conservative with the power. Perhaps overall refinement is top for the Japan... 

Definitely a very smooth and refined automobile, which is what the makers were aiming for. The V8 LS is one of their best machines. But suspension geometry choices makes the car lean a bit in turns and the steering power assist is overboosted, if the car'... 

In countries where people still place higher badge value on a Benz, BMW and Porsche, Lexus pricing strategy for its LS here does not make sense for way too many buyers who would rather take a S class, 7 series or a Panamera. I have moved on to an Alpina B... 

Alpina B7! That's one nice car. Very expensive too. Very nice. Those Alpina B7s cost a fortune in USA. I can't imagine how much they cost in Asia where cars are easily 2x-4x the prices in USA.

And you're right! I know "gas" pedal isn't entirely accurate. Besides. Why do we even call it "gas" since fuel is a liquid and not a gas. My European friends always joke with me on that part. I suppose I could call it an "electron pedal" or "current pedal...
