That's a true problem of compromises... I know that very well with the Alpine. The S is quite good at that game, and more polyvalent that the normal one, with too supple suspensions on a track.

the front is empty - you cannot even open the hood, it is screwed with about 8 bolts to the chassis

AAAah, I wondered why there was no pictures under the front hood. Now I better understand. Yes, 890 is nothing. Even the Alpine is 200 Kilos heavier.
