Luc, I think those days are sadly over
Unless one goes for some very exotic and/or niche thing like an Ariel Atom, main stream car companies won't go there. Time has moved forward and most drivers prefer technological aids for safety and convenience.
Having said, they do have their place, but at what cost to the pure enjoyment of driving?
Oh well, onward and upward, maybe I'll go back to one in due course.

They gave it more power in 2000

But that's your decision. Better get a replacement. Having a roadster is really a joy. It also increases your tetosterone level or literary your sex drive , a must for a man who enjoys living. Watches , cars and pretty girls to admire & look at. That'...
