A small 1, 4 4 Cylinders engine, but delivering 168 HP. Funny, lovely, not hyper powerful but enough to have some pleasure. Now, with such a name, I would have expected 40 more HP. Best, Nicolas ...  

with a re-tuning you should be able to squeeze some more HP

Being a platform brother to the MX-5. Unfortunately the full potential would have needed just a bit more development work than the cash strapped FCA back then decided to accord it 🤷🏻‍♂️ But looks pretty cool in black 🦾

turbo engines are robust enough to handle, but only 1.4L? Very close to the same weight as the MX-5 but even in Abarth trim it's down 17 hp compared to Mazda's naturally aspirated 2L engine. This would have been a fantastic sports car with a boosted 1.6 o... 

The 1.4 engine is the same as in the mito QV and can easily be tuned to 200bhp and the rev limiter increased, they are very reliable engines with quite a bit more torque than the 2 liter mazda engine. I had a 1.4 for almost ten years which saw its fair sh...  

.. alas, with two dogs a small convertible is not an ideal vehicle. Marcus
