The FGT is a special car Thomas, I absolutely agree with you. I've attempted (and failed) to acquire one over the years, though the search will inevitably begin again at some point.
IMO, there is absolutely no comparison between the 05-06 FGT and the current re-introduction. I put this FGT in the category of all time great modern, analog cars alongside specials such as the Porsche CGT, Ferrari Enzo, etc. So the question I'm dying to ...
I couldnt agree with you more, and for me, it is a far more
"Comfortable" car than the Enzo and CGT (have limited seat time in both) The FGT just "fits" me on so many levels - dimensions, haptics, steering feel, ride, even gear shift feel and ratios. Pedal feel and calibration - clutch engagement, throttle respons...
