Nice write up !

I remember us attacking these roads back in 1996 with 3 bikes.

Ducati Monster M900
Ducati 851 (with fake registration of a 916 LOL).
And me on my 1993 Honda CBR600f2, clip-ons moved under the triple clamps .. so I could move the steering 2 cm left or right smile. Very convenient in the Alps smile.

No need to tell you the whole adventure was just a motorbike race, especially since my two companions competed in motorbike championships. All I could do was try to follow them which always worked up until it got quite crazy and I started to feel the fatigue.

Eventually after a couple of days of craziness we ended up somewhere in Italy .... happy like kids but completely worn out and also worn tires and bikes that looked as if they'd went through some serious beating (yes we often collapsed with each other) and dirt all over.

I'm pretty sure when I would go back now it would have fun in a very different way .. on 4 wheels ;-)
