In my your(er) days my car used to do this every time after i took it for a drive (blast) but never had them ticking at this rate, quite amazing !

I got the FF because I wanted the extra 2 seats in the back
I hardly ever see FF's so that makes it more unique for me. I see tons of 488's nowadays. I'll take some pics when I get a car wash. It's been raining cats and dogs recently here.

Pretty much the rarest Ferrari on the streets and that includes the F12 berlinetta! I honestly think I've seen the LaFerrari an equal number of times in the West LA area as I've seen an FF . Good choice, cheers, Filip

I've had my FF for almost an entire year already. I just haven't had the chance to take photos of it (I don't care much for taking photos of my car for some reason unlike watches). Traded in the GranTurismo and bought this used FF instead. The prior owner...
I do miss the rumble of the GT a lot. I don't know if I'll ever own another car that sounds better than it at low RPM's
In any case, the FF V12 sounds fabulous once the valves are open at around 4,000 RPM's. Here's a video that Thomas took a while back that I have saved on my computer.

... to remove the fuse that keeps the valves closed under 4000 rpm ... my friend did that with his Vantage V8

Mine doesn't get driven enough...
But on those occasions it does get driven a lot I not only hear some snap crackle and pop but also a slight whiff of tire smell too!
I've put on almost 5,000 miles in a year
so that's a pretty good amount of miles. I try to drive it 2 or 3 times a week to help minimize the car from breaking down since I find idle cars usually develop problems more often than cars that are driven frequently.

Idle cars do have problems. And rodents/bugs love nesting in idle cars.

This was the first time I parked the car in the garage and hear the ticking that fast and loud
So I had to take a video to capture this memory. I wish I took the video earlier because it was ticking faster than in the video!
A while back....
I read somewhere that it is the excess oil/water droplets hitting the metal pan floor which causes the ticking and hissing sounds. May be incorrect of course, I cannot judge myself as I am unfortunately not an engineer . Cheers, Filip
