Spotted: Vintage foreign cars

First, a pair of Alfas (Alfettas?)

This one is mounted on DUBS wheels (small ones) but it still gives the Alfa a curious stance.

Here's an older version of the same model. These are quite rare in the US and I don't know much about them.

A Volvo 122 Wagon. A little worse for wear. But as an owner of Volvo wagons for 25+ years, I had to include it.

Moving now to VW, if you can call this one a VW! I love those enormous spring/remote-mounted shock absorber climbing up the side of the car

Same suspension arrangement in the front. This vehicle must have at least 12-15 inches of wheel travel. It doesn't look quite street legal, does it? No plates on it ...

At least this is recognizably a Volkswagen, and a proper diesel-free one at that.

Finally, for the Asian import fans, a serious drifting 240Z. Serious wheels and tires, with full roll cage.

I doubt this car is street legal ... you can see it is parked "Off the public roadway" and sidewalk, but just barely off. No plates on this one either.

The doctor ordered me to get outside more often - I don't think car-spotting is exactly what he had in mind, but it's certainly brightened up my last couple of weeks.  Who wants to walk in the park when these gems are waiting to be found?

Are you still with me?
