Thanks for remembering, Greg! The shop didn’t think it needed clay as there were not really any swirls and they thought clay could actually cause some swirls
They washed it, applied some kind of solution to prep the surface, and then did a two-year ceramic coating rather than an eight year which came with the full paint correction package. They didn’t think it was worth doing paint correction as the paint was in good shape. So a $1,200 job turned into a $200 job. It looks great. I’ll put up some post-detailing photos next time I have the car outside.
