Wow, looked up the Sustenpass, a beautiful 45km round trip!
Does going around those curves alongside 2,000 meter drop offs intimidate a bit? Looks like there are guardrails along the pass? Comparable here in Colorado is Independence Pass near Aspen. 12,095 feet along the Continental Divide. No guardrails and lots of hairpin turns with thousands of feet of drop off a few feet from where one drives! I drove it once but am somewhat hesitant to do so again. Definitely gets the heartbeat going!
Was all ready to embark on a 100 mile vintage road rally today through the Rockies with Larry Kelley in my 1971 BMW 2800cs, my Seiko “Rallymeter” Flyback 7015-7010, and LK’s GT3, but then the rain came!

Thanks for remembering, Greg! The shop didn’t think it needed clay as there were not really any swirls and they thought clay could actually cause some swirls

Years ago I knew this… rather weird guy who ordered one of those beautiful BMWs. His was white with thin red and blue pinstripes painted on the sides.
