That car, too was underrated in its time.
The trick is to truly appreciate the forward-looking car during its lifetime. Many derided the original NSX as a soulless Xerox of a Ferrari 328, and the notion couldn't have been more wrong. That original NSX was technology showcase, a rethink of supercar build quality, and one of the first daily-drivable exotics. I think that we will appreciate the new NSX more in time. It's as progressive today as the original NSX was in 1989, and that can require some time to adjust expectations.

That’s a great reply. I am not at all a fan of ‘piped in sound’, and I don’t enjoy crazy loud, straight piped exhaust either. You’re absolutely right that many modern sports/supercars have an exhaust note that is tuned quite different than was prevalent 2...

I test drove one recently, and it was fairly quiet. The electric motors helped the car get up to speed. I was thinking about trying something new after owning my GTR for a few years. In the end, I decided to keep the GTR.
