I read about the phenomenon and thought “quelle horreur!” So terribly cheesy…

for any car claiming to have soul. But yes it’s an even higher offense for a BMW, no less one with the (once vaunted) “M” badge. And then there’s the monthly subscription service for certain amenities… they are dead to me, and too bad for them as I’m cons...
