Keep in mind that we are in 1993 / 1994, here, and that we were used to some brutal design for Aston Martin cars, just before the DB 7 was unveiled. So you can imagine my reaction when I saw this car in the newspapers, in 1993. It first came with a 6 Cyli...  

It is not, as often portrayed, just two Ford V6 engines 'slapped together'. I read the whole story on the development on that V12 engine, and it is as authentic and inspirational as it gets! Cheers, Filip

and it was so easy to drive. Yes it had a Jaguar engine but I did not mind. For me it was a gorgeous looking car and one that helped Aston survive in the 90s.

somehow a lot more desirable than the Jaguars XK and XKRs.

is the feel good factor that the car provides. The Aston had it in bucket loads!

Indeed the DB7 and DB7 Vantage helped to let the brand survive. The by Cosworth for and together with Aston developed V12 engine was a great design and not just a doubled Ford V6. The whole package nowadays looks like the perfect entrance into the world o... 

I was a bit to tall for the car . The tried a XK8 in the same showroom and that wasn’t a problem so I bought a Jaguar then . Still till today i love the DB7 design a lot and especially the Zagato 🤩👌🏻

At the time, - 2010/11 or so, I had a not so clever DB4 which was undergoing renovation after the previous owner let her go a bit. I used to travel frequently to Goldhawk Rd to visit Nicolas Mee & Co. They had a lovely DB7Zag which they were not shifting....

I look at the small instrument indicators (oil, fuel etc) and see a Ming dial The car is beautiful to look at, a charm to sit in, a fun to drive, but not sure how reliable it is or was then.

Not without its quirks, but certainly not unreliable!

people mostly complain (if at all) about body panels (trim), paint and electrical stuff.... Engine wise, what I've seen is simply fuel pressure regulator, and excessive radiator fan running.... None of these items are major issues, and most other makes ha... 

Only 24 were made in the same colour .Each came with a dedicated watch given to their respective owners at an exclusive event held at Thornbury Castle. ...
