P.S.: the Swiss Railways fooled you - your train was German fast train, first generation model (easily recognisable with the rooftop windows in the train restaurant). There is nothing comparable with Swiss railways (and even the later iterations of german federal railways were not that attractive in my view). These trains go from the north of Germany directly to Zurich, and can be normally booked with Swiss Railways.
