Blancpain

I was thinking of getting a blue bb58 as a sports watch when on the sea or in the mountain skiing etc but, I think I’ll wait some more to save the necessary funds and get a second hand ceramic bathyscaphe.

I had a bkue BB58 and being a nice watch this Blancpain is in an entirely different league.

and not unbelievably expensive in second hand, when I think about the upward jump in finishing and overall quality of the watch it’s a no brainer.

Have you ever tried on the Bathyscaphe chrono? I'd love to hear the comparison if so. I like so much about this watch but find the dial a bit too expansive for my taste, and three subdials certainly would fix that.

I like it a lot. It is thicker than the regular bathyscaphe though.

It feels basically the same as the time-only. Still pretty balanced, dial-wise. The start/stop functionality is excellent; the flyback function is so much fun. It also has rolled hands for diminishment of parallax error, and it runs at 36 000 A/h. The bev...

It really helps to get to know the watch. As much as I admire the dark look, and it's nicely coordinated all the way down to the hardware, dates at 4:30 bug me. You've got a great looking watch. One I'd go out of my way to see.

I encourage you to get hands-on with it whenever you can!

You by your self managed to change my next purchase with one review. Wish we could see this detailed reviews here more often, although I understand that it’s a hard and time consuming process. Anyhow, I saw the bathyscaphes but never tried, they seemed a ... 

I'm happy my work, well, works! I love providing detailed reviews like this; it's what I think is missing in a lot of publications and enthusiast spaces. Sometimes there are YouTube videos which cover the long-term, but rarely are there articles that do. ...

I went to the BP AD today and they had one I their hands so I tried the watch and it’s looking very good. You managed to change my mind, I’ll have to wait a little bit to buy one but I’ll definitely get one. Will post to the forum when I buy it. Cheers! ...

I'd reach out to Blancpain with serial number. My AD actually checked when that watch came in and also with HQ for production. I essentially wanted to make sure it hadn't been sitting in the display for 7 years.
