Blancpain: Ref 5015 in titanium

45mm for classic feel, but less than 100g. IMO the perfect all-rounder, equally at ease in the boardroom, at the beach club, hiking in the mountains, and exploring scuba depths. Best wishes from warm and sunny Marbella in late February.

Horological Meandering: Digging up this old post to respond…

Yes. All that, and wearability too, at least for the 1000m range. Up to 3000m they’re fine. The 4000m is way too massive. I sold mine.

Horological Meandering: I am a big fan of UTS München

I bought my first one back in 2007. I own five now: - black 1000m - blue 1000m - blue 1000m GMT - black 2000m - grey 3000m All of them on various types of OEM steel bracelets. They are extremely underrated watches, IMO. Sometimes I find it hard to resist wearing one of them even when I should prefer

Blancpain:

Thank you! They are the same and yet completely different in feel. It’s a very pleasant experience to shift between them within my random watch rotation.

Blancpain:

The only appreciable difference is that the OC has slightly thinner hands and dots. But that doesn’t affect legibility because the lume is equally strong. It might be a little more elegant for this reason. The small difference in case size is not appreciable, completely negligible.
