I relate to your comment on making mistakes with watch collecting selling or buying over the year! My only concern for me personally on the breguet collection is the legibility of their small hands overall...find it more difficult to read then other desig... 

The legibility ,in reality,is not so 40 mm model has a much better legibility than the original 37mm version. But as usual in life: sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sheer beauty of things....

Seriously you guys are killing me. I have exactly 2 watches on my RADAR, a 7097 in white gold and well, something else which I dare not say at the moment. Could it just be the phenomena of when you are interested to buy a new car, all of a sudden the car ...

The very basic,manual wound 37mm version is and remains a superb watch. However here I would have a legibility issue with my aging eyes.

I consent to your choice: in RG it looks particularly good. To me it is a stament piece that tells people that the owner is a serious watch lover. A cordial "Hello" from mine. ...  

WG makes it an easy daily beater, even with summer attire like today. What I noticed is that the watch looks very impressive outdoor. The watch details on the dial are crisp and very clear in daylight. Indoors it is more subdude, less spectacular.

In fact,I cannot recall any version of the Tradition which was not looking good.
