Finally, an Aeronavale in my collection
It’s been a long time since I posted here, but for the first time in while I have something to post.
The Breguet 3800 Aeronavale is still my favorite of all the modern-era Type XX watches. Finally, one came my way, a recently serviced (slightly) pre-Swatch model. The bracelet was too short, but I succeeded in locating three extra links from a store in France. One was for a Transatlantique (brushed), but I know how to buff steel
That said, I think I like it better on the strap. I couldn’t find a steel deployant, but I’m using an (excellent!) Ebel deployant of the same vintage. Hey! Ebel and Breguet were sister companies in those days.
