Breguet

First off, welcome to the PuristSPro forums Rich!

I hope you enjoy your stay here and please make yourself at home here!

I've worn my wife's Transatlantique XX many times, and it's a nice versatile watch - can be both dressy and sporty while on the stock brown OEM croc strap.  If you're used to larger watches such as 44mm Panerai's, you'll have to get used to its smaller size but if 39mm watches are your preference, then it's even better.

A drawback of the Transatlantique XX is the small sized screw-in crown which makes manual winding of the watch difficult IMO.  Also the chronograph subdial at 3 o'clock can be a little confusing since each chrono marking is for every 2 minutes instead of the usual 1 minute you find on other chronos.  It's a 30-minute register chronograph so if you're looking for a 60-minute chronograph, this Breguet may not be fore you.  Also, I wish the date display had a black background with white font instead of white background with black font so the date display blends in with the rest of the dial.
Cool things about the Transatlantique is the chronograph subdial is slightly larger than the time secs subdial at 9 o'clock and chrono hour subdial at 6 o'clock.  Makes it easier to read the chrono minutes IMO.  Movement is a trusty Lemania flyback chrono, and the sapphire crystal is slightly domed.

The luminousity is average without any external light exposure but glows fairly bright when directly exposed to light.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Anthony
