I agree completely. There are few other manufacturers that finish the this standard on any design let alone a watch that has been designed to be used as a sports watch.
I'm not going to cover mine in cotton wool - it's going to be used and loved and never polished - it will have my memories & history etched on it

The newer ones come with free sprung balance... same case for Blancpain's Caliber 6950...
IMO, these FP1150 based movements are so under-appreciated. They have tremendous hand polished anglage that could put a lot of Pateks' to shame. In my ownership experience the anglage finishing(be it the 517GG or the 6950) is as good as a Lange's. For tho...

On the Breguet website: 1) Breguet=silicon parts used 2) Annular=non-silicon This is confirmed by the NYC boutique asking Breguet HQ

And for those with the old movement who wish to upgrade their balance wheel and hairspring, I have contacted Swatch Group and they said it can be done. Although they were not able to provide me with an estimated cost, I believe it won't be cheap.
