Both are absolute beauties.
Great comparison, my friend. I share your view that the 2021’s larger minute counter is very faithful to the true Type 20 DNA — it just feels “right” at a glance. That said, the 2019 crown gives it a bit more character and charm.
I like the coin bezel and crown more on the 2019,
but hands and subdials more on the 2021 🧐....
Both are indeed stunning Breguet's.
But if I was fortunate enough to have a choice between the two it would be the 2019 as besides the nicer IMO crown I also prefer the bezel and the what to me looks like a better balanced dial. Marc

Both beautiful.
The 21 is a bit sportier maybe? Chunkier looking with a gmt bezel. I honestly don’t know which one I would choose, both have a place in a collection for me.
I like the balance of equal sized subdials myself. Oh, and the crown, too, makes 2019 mine.

This is super frustrating.
They are showing us that they actually can make a modern rendition of the Mark XX that we’d all line up to buy. But instead, they decide to produce a 42mm version with a garish lume color and a silly date window. It’s like an act of deliberate self sabota...
