Love at first sight!
Gentleman!
Although Breguet celebrated her 250th birthday last year, I acquired this beautiful 5140bb/29/9w6 just now, a year later of the anniversary year!
It took me two years to decide and buy this really NOS specimen!

What attracts me at this model is the grand feu emaille (enamel) dial and the misplaced little second!
The dial is very, very charming and romantic, and despite of the “cold” colour of the dial and white gold case the whole watch is WARM!
Somehow this beautiful dial brings me back to the quintessence of the traditional watchmaking! That is the WATCH, the origins of the real watchmaking, the human craftmanship, which is hard to find nowadays!

The whole watch seems fragile, maybe due to the enamel dial.
Look at those blued hands and painted arabic numerals!

Did I mention that the watch is a NOS specimen? Look at the perfect original shape of the case and the sharp lines! Isn’t too bad for a 20 years old watch…

The original, blue alligator strap also hasn’t got any sign of use:

But a watch MUST BE WORN!!! What could be a better occasion as a ball for it?

Well, this model is wearable also with a sweater, resting after the ball on a lazy sunday afternoon.

I think I have acquired really something timeless and eternal!
HAGWE my Friends!
