Breguet

I have the older 5140 but so tempted to buy this one. The enamel indentation is really something. My 5140 is a two piece construction. Still very lovely. Congratulations on owning a Breguet with wonderful and true DNA.

I just cannot settle between whether this or the 5177 is the simple enamel dial Breguet for me.

Especially if the date doesn't bother you. To me, the sunken subdial and the Grand Feu dial together were everything about the 7147. ...

I do think it would be more attractive if it was 37-38 mm instead of 40. Breguet has a history of making smaller diameter watches and they all look very good. If this layout could be combined with the 5178 case (and no wacky-looking date window) it could ...
