Diamond watches for men stand out too much
in my opinion. I like knowing I have a nice watch on but don't want or need everyone else to know I am wearing a nice watch. I like your comment about the grand complication vs a diamond encrusted watch. I too would go with the complicated watch given the choice. I have seen some watches that have small diamonds as hour indicators with no stones on the case, bezel or clasp that look nice, but I still don't think I would wear a watch with any diamonds. Too much bling is not a good thing

For some people, that's the idea...
....I think they want them to stand out. I tend to agree with you though...subtlety and intrigue can be much more appealing at times.

The best use of diamonds in men's watches is PP
with their discreet diamond set in platinum cases. It's not a particularly valuable diamond but a very nice touch.

Discreet can be good in a men's watch...
...when it comes to using precious stones. It would almost be better to have the movement jewel encrusted...if that were possible. or diamond set caseback.

Well I personally like the watch too much I went out to buy one more for myself... Only to realize after a couple of weeks that it is just WAYYYYY too heavy for me as a daily beater! So I only wear it occasionally but my husband is a very seriously man so...

But I can see how it would be difficult for a woman to wear, especially with the metal band. Larger watches are a little easier to wear with straps. Worked out that your husband likes it
