My dear THOMAS, I’m somewhat lost for words right now, but in short, I am ecstatic over your acquisition. In particular, I can see the joy it brings to you, my dear friend.
Not only does it exemplify beauty and craftsmanship, but that dial is mesmerizing. You wear this one well my friend it was made for you. Enjoy it to the fullest, with respect and sincerity, Tony.
About eight months ago, Patrick’s phenomenal Octo thread sent me down the Finissimo rabbit hole. His deep dive felt like a roadmap — blending horological knowledge, design philosophy, and pure passion. It set a benchmark for what a watch community thread ...
The Revolution Octo! I always liked their Roman numerals! More Octos should have Roman numerals right? And the pierced Romans is just too cool! It's the subtle version of skeletonization! Huge congrats!
To my knowledge, the first OF Minute Repeater had a similar dial. Revolution picked this skeletonization of the dial up for the first anniversary edition. This design element has now been taken up again for the 20th anniversary watch.
The pierced dial first debuted on the minute repeater. The pierced dial was seen again on a Revolution time-only watch again, but with Roman numerals. And it's been seen again on another Revolution Red dial!
Not only does it exemplify beauty and craftsmanship, but that dial is mesmerizing. You wear this one well my friend it was made for you. Enjoy it to the fullest, with respect and sincerity, Tony.
Thank you — your words meant more to me than you might expect. 🙏 People often say online communities create distance. Or at least struggle to build real closeness. No real connection, no real friendship — just comments and avatars. Yet here we are, provin...
I follow your posts and threads very closely and admire your exquisite taste — one that is in no way brand-driven. You wear what suits you and reflects your own style. I like that! From a “simple” Rado Anatom to your Rolex Day-Date 40 in white gold with t...
Yes - eyes wide open and the wallet dangerously unlocked. If one is truly committed (read: willing to jump into almost any madness at a moment’s notice 😂), these special pieces tend to find their way to us. Right time, right website… and just the right (o...
Besides the Lee Ufan, I was also interested in the Sejima — also very difficult to get. It truly shines in its own way. But I have to say: this polished titanium has a very unique character — soft, yet radiant at the same time. It’s something you really n...
Next up is the WPS Anniversary. I truly can’t wait to have it in my hands. A dream watch in every sense… 🙏 And then I’m done for this year. Enough. Enough! Enough!!!
In my now quite substantial watch collection, a few pieces are starting to stand out so strongly that they almost dominate the others. They are simply … champions, and because of that, I find myself wearing the rest less and less. A few times in the past ...
Our tastes evolve over the years, too I've bought and sold so many watches with no regrets, except for the insane peak values reached during the pandemic (the RM005 in particular). They've all left me with great memories and got me to where I am today. I'...
I followed your Asia trip with great enjoyment — you and your beautiful wife shared so many interesting impressions and wonderful photos. And I really like your Moser Citrus. Your adventure-and-action Panerai as well — always a pleasure to see it in actio...
I love this beauty. Although I’m not entirely sure my love is fully returned yet… When wearing it for the second time after a three-day break, I ran into a technical issue (while setting the time, the crown suddenly came off in my hand), which Bulgari wil...
Yes, it’s true. I could jokingly say that I double-checked this very carefully. Because when I wanted to put the watch back on my wrist after a three-day break — and set the time beforehand — I suddenly ended up with the crown in my hand. 🙄 I hope Bulgari...
