Funny that you should mention 'engineer' because the mysterious Third Man (not the Hitchcock film) who got a Bulgari Diagono X-Pro PuristS 10th Edition is an engineer who was first captivated by a presentation given by Bulgari Head of Watch Business - Mr Guido Terreni - in Singapore.
In real life, the Third Man helps develop the subway train network in Singapore and the Bulgari is his first high-end mechanical watch. All that watchy movement and scratchy "resistancey" talk just flew over his newbie head but when it came to the engineering part......he was impressed.
