As far as now Cartier never pre announced these jubilee models. In 2012 there was no special Tortue to celebrate the anniversary of that important model. In 2017 The Tank Normale will be 100 years, well that model was not even part of the CPCP collection and has not been available since many years. One would say that 2019, the anniversary of the Tank Louis Cartier, would be a good reason to launch a special edition,Cartier of this more commercial model. Cartier may have by then, an In House mechanical caliber, so they do not need to use the Piaget caliber again. My hopes are high on a new Tank Louis Cartier, since the really large XL model, is the only model interesting for men. A pre owned Tank Louis Cartier is of course as you said also an option. They are small like a stamp, but I think they look very classy and discreet.

I would choose the LC, because i dont like the date window in the MC. For me, the tank musnt have a date. Also, I like the more rectangular shape better and the slimmer profile. André
