I had left my order for the cloche and tank cintree the minute they were released on 13 April. But being allocated one is another thing altogether.

In this case, no news is bad news!

I would go for the Cintree, which I find the most elegant of the four. I like the concept of the guichet but the numbers are too small for my liking, not ideal with dwindling eyesight. The cloche does nothing for me when on or off the wrist. The Panthere ... 

And I agree with you that the figures on the Tank Guichet are not so easy to read even if one's eyesight was good.

And keeping fingers crossed. I find you have chosen four truly exquisite pieces. For me the Cartier I truly lust after and that i unfortunately missed when it could have been gotten more easily is the 2396C CPCP Monopussoir. Maybe one day 🤞🏻🤷🏻‍♂️ ... 

and yes I would be very pleased even if only one of the four were allocated to me let alone two or three of them.

I seriously doubt if Cartier would allocate all four to me as I am not a big time collector.

but Cartier are in an enviable 'demand exceeding supply by many times' position so they can afford to discriminate big time.

Of the four on your short list, it would be the Cintree — classic charm.

The Cintree seems to be a popular choice. I have never had one so I would be privileged to have one in my collection.

a watch with no date window at all so a two or three handed watch would always be my preference. Just me

Quick question on the "cloche" if i may? Is it limited ans whats the retail price on that baby in your market? I hear around 31k eur?

In fact none of the four watches are limited editions but because they are limited production models, they are arguably as difficult to obtain as a limited edition model. 31k euros sounds about right. It is RM150k in Malaysia but I am a customer of Cartie... 

I do prefer the yellow gold with green strap though, and I don't usually like yellow or rose gold watches.

Is that yours? I try to avoid Cartier platinum watches as they tend to be too heavy for me making them unwearable. Saying that, I do have a platinum Cartier cloche which is as heavy as I can cope with ...  

but for my skin tone, the rose will look better. Yellow is great too for the fairer skinned.

not only because of the lacquered bezel but the hands are more distinctive in the blue making the watch more legible in my opinion.

I am unable to disagree with your choices as they are my top two too

so I will be most surprised if I am allocated one. I will be very happy with the Cloche or Cintree.
