Cartier Santos Octagon
Hi everybody,
Been a long time read-only visitor of these forums, but I'd like to ask you all for some help on identifying the watch in the attached photo's.
It seems to be a Cartier Santos Octagon, only with a red dial and missing romans on the dial.
The watch has recently been back to Cartier for servicing.
Has anybody ever seen a variant like this before and/or might know where and why these watches were made?

The last service was done by the Cartier Boutique in Geneva

I have seen it with a maroon dial before
but I can't remember where or when, possibly at auction. That dial is definitely original, but I doubt it is a special edition. - SJX
