Cartier

Hi everybody, Been a long time read-only visitor of these forums, but I'd like to ask you all for some help on identifying the watch in the attached photo's. It seems to be a Cartier Santos Octagon, only with a red dial and missing romans on the dial. The...  

I've only seen the octagonal Santos with a white dial with Romans. However the dial on that watch is beautiful. I don't know anything of that watches significance. However, the few times I've seen Cartiers with a red cabochon on the crown usually they wer...

but I can't remember where or when, possibly at auction. That dial is definitely original, but I doubt it is a special edition. - SJX
