Case proportions
I beg to differ on the case proportions. The Tortue MP is one of those watches with a (comparatively) small size which manage to generate great wrist presence. This is (among other factors like the big and gorgeous crown) due to the height of the case which gives the watch some heft. Haven't seen a real turtle lately but in my memory turtles aren't that flat after all. When looked upon from above it takes only a little imagination to add head and tail and here's your real turtle....there's quite some resemblance of the case and the real animal and this also adds to the magic of the Tortue line....

My pleasure, Nicolas.... Never had an issue, in my view a very reliable movement. And yes, both are keepers, they have a very different presence on the wrist due to the very different dial. Will change the strap of one though, the Cartier burgundy is nice...

Thought for a moment that together with Geo´s YG version this thread might gather all the contemporary versions of the Tortue MP. But at least for the YG version there should be more iterations like black dial etc. Would be nice to have all the Tortue MP´...
Platinum?
As far as I know, there has never been a platinum version of the CPCP Tortue Mono Poussoir. The Tank MP in platinum was at an auction a few months ago, but that was probably a custom order. GEO
